I have been in an around the world of meditation in its various guises for over 30 years and am joined by a man who is similarly invested in the Practise.
The Way App is far and away the best meditation App that I have come across and the opportunity to go on this journey with Henry Shukman is both a privilege and a gift.
In one of the earliest teachings in the Way Henry says "the only bad meditation is the one that does not happen"
Our focus at the Shift is not so much to teach meditation as it is to give people the resources, tools, support and frameworks to sustain a consistent meditation practise
Because sustaining a meditation Practise takes something.
That is coupled with a deep respect and admiration for the Way App and wanting to see the teaching and community grow around it.
So if you are inspired by Henry's teaching and would like support on the Way then this course is for you.
Think of us not as the content guys but as the enablers, the men in your corner who will support you on the Way.
Foundations Framework: We embark on a 4 week journey that explores tools and perspectives that men need to navigate life effectively. This in turn will lead directly to sustaining meditation as a key pillar practise
In each session we layer on different experiences, practises and concepts that enable you to connect with yourself and others, develop capacity and sustain your practises
Good Stuff to know
Course Format - online
Men only all of whom will be using the Way App for their meditation practise and learning
Capacity - 8 to 10 people per group
Lead Facilitators - Mike Britton and Mikey Kelly
Frequency - 1 session per week, 4 weeks
Session Duration - 2 hours (7.30-9.30pm)
Day of the week - Thursday evenings
Course Fee $400 +GST

Topics covered during the four sessions:
The power of pillar practises (oxygen mask activities) like a regular meditation and mindfulness practises and how they can support you through this life transition.
Life is difficult and challenging by its design. Just like the ocean is calm and rough so to is the ebb and flow of life. See this perspective of life through a whole new lens
Discover the power of mens circle and sharing with a small group of like minded men and exploring what it might look like to be part of an ongoing circle of fellow Way participants
